Having renovated my house over a period of a year I was tired of making decisions and the thought of tackling window dressings was a total anathema to me. Along came Alicia and it was a relief to hand over the project to someone else! I was on a fairly tight budget so we decided that it would be a good idea to have some of the curtains from my previous home altered to fit the bedroom windows. This task was probably more time-consuming and tricky than making them from scratch but Alicia did an excellent job. Downstairs was a different kettle of fish. The house is a Listed Building and the ceilings, floors and windows are all a little wonky so attention to detail was very important, particularly so when the time came to put up the curtain rails. To make things even more challenging my chosen fabrics were all floral! She also made some seat cushions for my even wonkier dining chairs.

Handing over meters of expensive fabric to be cut and made up into your dream curtains would make anyone a little nervous! However I couldn’t have asked for my fabric to be in better hands. Highly professional, involved and helpful, Alicia offered an excellent quality of service from start to finish, advising on fabric choice, style and measurements. Alicia offered a very welcome measurement service at the beginning and hanging service at the end to ensure the curtains fitted and flowed perfectly when hung. Alicia has a high attention to detail, which clearly shows in the end product. I would highly recommend Alicia to anyone.
